And a book signing with a local author.

Today is Thursday, Jan. 12. Here are five things you need to know:

1. Whoa. Is that right? Weather Underground predicts weather today that doesn’t make ANY sense: highs nearing 60 around 4 p.m. We’ll also see rain in the morning—possibly continuing most of the day—and some pretty significant winds. Go fly a kite?

2. A chuckle on Charlestown Live? This week's program will feature host Dan Ryan with Charlestown's own legendary comedian Tony V, of movie, television and comedy club fame. The show can be seen live on Thursday, January 12th at 6:30 pm on BNN-TV channel 9, RCN channel 15 or on the web at www.bnntv.org and is repeated on Saturday at 8 pm and Monday at 10:30 am.
