Gunman Robs Taxi Driver, Gets Cell Phone
And watch out for scam "special offers" from Comcast impersonator.

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Dec. 27: Armed Robbery
The victim, a taxi driver, told police he was flagged down on Polk Street by a white male wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt. He stopped and the suspect opened the door brandishing a small black handgun. Suspect demanded money but did not get any. He then took the victim’s cell phone and fled into the Bunker Hill Development.

Officers on Bunker Hill Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Somerville court warrant charging larceny.
Dec. 26: Assault and Battery
As a result of a fight on Polk Street, complaints will be sought in Charlestown court charging both parties with assault and battery.
Dec. 27: Theft
A victim on Monument Street reports an individual took from her home an iPad and a Playstation 3 video game system. Suspect is known and charges will be sought.
Dec. 27: Drug Arrest
As a result of an ongoing drug investigation in the area of Cambridge Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of a class a substance with intent to distribute.
Dec. 31: Larceny
Victim on Main Street reported that an individual, who is known to him, stole a laptop from his home. Matter is under investigation.
Dec. 27: Investigate Person
A victim on old landing way stated she received a phone call from a man claiming to be a Comcast representative offering a pre-paid money card deal offering services. She felt something was not right and contacted Comcast. Comcast stated no such deals are being offered and that this was some type of a scam.
