A victim on 1st Avenue reports someone entered his home through the front door using a key. At this time, it appears nothing was taken. Incident was captured on an internal video system.

Jan. 5: Assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (firearm)
Officers responded to Carney Court for a person shot. Upon arrival, they observed a male suffering from two gunshot wounds to his chest. Victim was transported to Massachusetts General Hospital. Detectives are investigating the incident.

Jan. 6: Warrant arrest
Officers at Sullivan Square placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding parole violation warrant charging the individual with armed robbery.
Jan. 7: Drug arrest
As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Sullivan Street, two individuals were placed under arrest for possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
Jan. 9: Armed robbery (knife)
A victim on Winthrop Street reports while walking down the street a black male came out of an alley brandishing a silver-colored knife and demanded money. Suspect took between 60 and 80 dollars then fled in the direction of Monument Square.
