MEMA Holds Boston Marathon Safety Drill

The Massachusetts Emergency Management Agency bunker in Framingham was the site of an operational exercise Monday, focusing on keeping the Boston Marathon safe.

A number of organizations, municipal leaders, and law enforcement agencies went through emergency scenarios.

The Boston Athletic Association was also present in order to help plan, train, and run through exercises. The scenarios ranged from bomb threats to extreme weather conditions.
