Officers Assaulted While Responding to Fight

And victim chases away vehicle invader.

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Jan. 30: Assault and battery on a police officer

The officers, while assigned to a at Charlestown High School, observed several females and males fighting. The officers attempted to break up the fight. However, they were assaulted by the combatants. The officers called for assistance. Several units responded to the scene, and two suspects were placed under arrest and transported to district for booking.

Jan. 24: Breaking and entering into a vehicle

A victim reported that she observed an unknown male inside of her vehicle that was parked and locked on Franklin Street. The suspect was frightened away by victims husband.

Jan. 25: Violation of auto laws

The suspect will be summonsed into court for violation the auto laws. He was observed on Monument Street, backing through the intersection. When he was stopped. it was determined that his license was revoked.

Jan. 25: Fraud

The manager of store on Austin Street reported that he observed an employee making illegal refunds to a customer. To be further investigated.

Jan. 25: Drug possession

The officer responded to Main Street on a report of a motor vehicle accident. Upon arrival the officer observed the suspect sitting inside of a vehicle with . He also observed several small glassine baggies contain a brown powdery substance believed to be heroin. The suspect was checked out by emergency medical services, then placed under arrest, and transported to district for booking. The motor vehicle towed for safe-keeping.

Jan. 28: Breaking and entering

The victim reported that an unknown person broke into her house on Sullivan Street.

Jan. 29: Drug possession

The suspect was arrested on Green Street in Charlestown by members of the district A-1/A-15 drug control unit. He was in .

The suspect was arrested on Austin Street for shoplifting.
