Police Arrest Randolph Man After Armed Robbery

Boston and Somerville police collaborated on the investigation.

Boston and Somerville police collaborated last week to arrest a West Randolph man for an armed robbery near the corner of Hadley Street and Parker Street.

The victim told police that, on Tuesday, Feb. 21, he was walking toward Parker Street when three black males approached him from behind. The men stopped and detained him, the victim told police, and asked him what he had in the bag.

One of the men then produced a dark handgun from within the front of his pants, a police report said.

The men took the victim’s jacket and gym bag, which contained clothing and a wallet with $30 inside, then fled on foot.

After the incident, Boston and Somerville police canvassed the area until a Somerville officer spotted a black man wearing what appeared to be the victim’s jacket exit a Perkins Street driveway.

Police stopped the man, and the victim identified him as one of the robbers.

As a result, police arrested Milor Nerette of 435 West Street in Randolph and charged him with armed robbery.
