Police Log: Officers Respond to Stolen Car, Dead Resident

On Monday, Feb. 27, officers responded to a report that a resident of Carney Court was concerned for a neighbor after the neighbor had gone unseen for a week. With the assistance of the Boston Housing Authority, officers gained entry to the resident’s apartment and found dead.
On Friday, March 2, a victim walked into the District A-15 police station to report that his vehicle had been stolen. The man reported that he had parked his vehicle on Terminal Street near Medford Street around 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28 and discovered the vehicle missing around 2 p.m. on Thursday, March 1.

Sunday, March 4
- A Sackville Street resident reported that someone attempted to break into the resident’s home around 2:50 a.m. Sunday morning.
- A victim reported being attacked and robbed on Main Street around 1:47 a.m.
- Officers arrested Todd Ferrante of 19 Bradford Road in Peabody and charged him with drug offenses after arresting him on O’Meara Court around 9:30 a.m.
- Officers responded to a report of an assault and battery on Charles River Avenue around 4:30 p.m.
Monday, March 5
- Officers Arrested Christopher McHugh, of 6 Nearing Rowe in Charlestown, and charged him with drug offenses around 6:30 p.m.
- A Main Street resident reported that someone attempted to enter the resident’s home around 7:30 p.m.
