Police Report Assault on Officer on Medford

Feb. 19: Assault and battery of a police officer

As a result of an ongoing drug investigation on Medford Street, a suspect was taken into custody and charged with assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Feb. 14: Warrant arrest

Officers on Dunstable Street placed an individual under arrest for an outstanding Malden court warrant charging shoplifting.

Feb. 16: Assault and battery

Victim, a taxi driver, told officers that, as he dropped a fare off on Bunker Hill Street, an argument ensued during which the suspect was grabbed by the victim by the shirt collar while yelling derogatory statements. Suspect then fled down Bunker Hill Street.

Feb. 19: Trespassing

Officers on Carney Court placed an individual under arrest for violation of a no trespass order.

Feb. 19: Drug arrest

As a result of a drug investigation on Old Landing Way, a female was issued a citation charging possession of marijuana.
