- At 5:14 p.m., police responded to a report of trespassing at the BHA Bunker Hill Development located at 177 Bunker Hill Street. A BHA police officer reported seeing a known repeat offender on the premises. When the suspect realized the officer had seen him, he pulled up his hooded sweatshirt. A foot chase ensued during which the suspect ran through the building courtyard and ended up forcing traffic to a screeching halt in order to avoid striking the man. The chase continued up Concord, Bartlett, Cross, High and Green streets before backup officers cornered him. During the booking process a pre-trial release form was found on the suspect’s person listing conditions of “stay away from BHA” and “stay out of Charlestown except for future court dates.”
- At approximately 8:15 p.m., a policeman responded to a report of robbery at 78 High Street. Upon arrival the officer spoke with the victim who stated she had parked her car on School Street and while walking onto High Street toward Pearl, felt as if she was being followed. When she turned the suspect grabbed her bag and yanked hard enough that the straps broke. The victim gave chase, pursuing the suspect back to the corner of School and High at which point he turned around and kicked the victim in the knee, debilitating her just long enough to grab her Blackberry, which was connected to her mother in California at the time. The suspect was picked up just seconds later by a gray or silver Toyota which went speeding off in the direction of Bunker Hill Community College. The victim refused medical attention for her knee, but estimated the stolen items totaled nearly $2000. She said the suspect was a dark-skinned male in his early-mid 20’s and that she could identify him via photograph.

- At 6:00 p.m. during routine police surveillance of the Bunker Hill Housing Development, 425 Medford Street, a “known high-traffic area for drug activity,” officers observed a cluster of males behaving suspiciously. Surveillance continued at a distance as officers tracked the pack's movement from Medford & Polk through several parking lots and along the old train tracks. Once the group stopped moving, police noted (via binoculars) that sleeves were being rolled up and decided to approach and question them. As they moved in, the four men started walking away. Officers found what they believed to be brown heroin and a pair of loaded syringes on the ground nearby. The group admitted to having just been asked to leave a treatment program and were attempting to use drugs "away from public eye." No formal arrests were made, but summonses have been issued for Possession, Class A and a resulting court date.

- At 1:20 p.m. police closed in on a pair of known men engaged in suspicious activity at the Bunker Hill Street and Concord Street bus stop. Officers observed the men walking away from the bus stop area and entering the Bunker Hill Housing Development at 161 Bunker Hill Street where they were aware that neither suspect resides. They followed behind the pair up to the second floor landing where they observed one male with his pants unbuttoned/hand down his pants. When officers asked what they were doing, one responded “I just sold him some weed, that’s all.” Apparently that wasn’t the case, however. After placing both parties in custody for trespassing, a later strip search revealed no contraband.
- At 5:16 p.m., officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 70 Dunstable Street where they discovered a mother and daughter engaged in a violent struggle and the contents of the apartment in noticeable disarray. Police eventually arrested the daughter for assault and battery after questioning both parties extensively.
