Police Respond to a Dozen Reports of Theft This Week
Larceny from motor vehicles tops this week's police blotter.

These reports were collected from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.
Monday, June 20
- Nicholas Caso of Charlestown was arrested on a charge of larceny (over $200) around 5 p.m. at 48 Chestnut St.
- Police responded to two separate reports of larceny: Around 1:30 p.m. on Polk Street (under $200) and at 3 p.m. at Monument Square (over $200).

- Police responded to a report of breaking and entering (by force) around 2 a.m. at 18 Carney Court.
- A report of vandalism came in around 1 p.m. from 240 Medford Street. A separate report of vandalism on Bunker Hill Street came in around 7:30 p.m.
- A victim on Monument Street reported their car was broken into. More than $200 worth of property was stolen from it.
Wednesday, June 22
- Francis McMurrough of Rockland was arrested on Main Street in service to another police department.
- Police responded to a report of larceny on Austin Street. A woman told police that while she was getting lunch, she placed her purse on the floor next to her. When she reached down to get it, it was gone.

- Officers responded to a verbal dispute at 65 Chelsea Street around 9 p.m.
- Malcolm Ingram of Roxbury was arrested at 42 Tufts St. around 8:30 p.m. on a charge of assault and battery.
- Police responded to a report of vandalism at a business on 92 Arlington St. The victim told police when he arrived in the morning to open the business, he noticed the front door had been pried open. Seven dollars in change was taken from the business.
- A victim reported their car was broken into on Spice Street around 4:30 p.m. Less than $200 worth of property was stolen.
- A car was reported stolen on 54 Washington Street around 6 p.m.
Friday, June 24
- Keith McCue of Charlestown was arrested on an outstanding court warrant on Warren Street around 9:30 a.m.
- Gilbert Peterson was arrested on a charge of larceny from a vehicle (under $50) on Tufts Street around 11 a.m.
- Michael Burke of Danvers and Louise Thomas of Wakefield were arrested on Rutherford Avenue around 6 p.m. in connection to a stolen vehicle.
- Police responded to a report of larceny from a motor vehicle (over $200) around 7 p.m. outside 60 O'Reilly Way.
- A victim on Medford Street told officers someone entered his building by cutting a hole in the perimeter fence and then forced open a rear door. Five computers and a microwave oven were stolen.
Saturday, June 25
- A report of vandalism came in from 3rd Avenue around 9 p.m.
- Police responded to three reports of larceny from a motor vehicle; One outside 41 Carney Court (over $200); another on Mystic Avenue was reportedly broken into around 10 p.m. (under $200) and a third on Medford Street (over $200).
Sunday, June 26
- Officers responded to two reports of vandalism. One at 9 Winthrop Street around 9 p.m. and another at 35 Sackville St. around 6:30 p.m.
