Thief Takes Valuables From Prescott St Home

Log incidents provided by District A-15 for Feb 20-26.

These reports were submitted from the Boston Police Department and took place within Charlestown's District, A-15. The time and place of the alleged crimes are listed. Persons arrested are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt.

Feb. 26: Breaking and entering into a residence

A victim on Prescott Street reported to officers that when she returned home she saw that the rear glass door to her home was now ajar. The victim believed that the door was left open. Taken from the home: various electronics as well as assorted jewelry.

Feb. 20: Violation of auto laws

As a result of a traffic stop on Main Street, an individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Suspect was also wanted on three outstanding default warrants. One from Quincy District Court, one from Boston Municipal Court, and one from Chelsea District Court.

Feb. 21: Robbery committed with a firearm

Officers responded to Parker Street where a victim reported that he had just been robbed by three black males, one of whom brandished a black handgun. He went on to state the suspects had fled in three different directions. As a result of the investigation that followed, one of the suspects was located and positively identified by the victim as being one of the men who had robbed him. He was taken into custody and will be charged accordingly. The investigation is ongoing.

Feb. 22: Breaking and entering into a residence

A Victim on 13th Street reported that she returned home to find her apartment door, that she had locked when she left, was now unlocked. Unknown at this time if anyone entered or if anything was taken.

Feb. 23: Robbery attempt

A victim stated to officers while walking by west School Street and Main Street, three males, all wearing hooded sweatshirts pulled tight around their faces, approached her. One of the males stated “give me the bag [expletive]” while another punched her in the stomach. The victim fell to the ground still clutching her handbag. Suspects then fled the area towards Green Street. A search of the area was conducted to no avail although the incident may have been captured on exterior cameras located in the area.

As a result of a motor vehicle stop on Walford way an, individual was placed under arrest for operating a motor vehicle on with a suspended license.

Feb. 24: Larceny from a building

Victim on Tibbetts Town Way stated unknown person(s) stole her glass patio table that was located in front of her home.

Feb. 25: Drug charges

As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Concord Street, a suspect was placed under arrest and charged with possession of a class b substance.
