April 4: Attempted robbery
A victim reported that, at about 9 p.m. while walking on 1st Ave, he was approached by a group of males and females. Two of the males came up from behind and demanded his possessions while punching him. Victim fled to a nearby store. Officers were able to locate several of the suspects but the victim could not identify the individuals who assaulted him.

A victim on Cordis Street reported that about 11:30am she heard loud noises coming from the rear of her home. Upon checking, she observed a window open and a white male running from the window toward the backyard. Suspect did not gain entry into the home.oficers searched the area for the suspect to no avail.
April 4: Assault and battery
A victim on Main Street stated that, while walking, she was approached by the suspect, a white female. The suspect then began to punch the victim before fleeing the area. As a result of the investigation that followed the suspect was identified. Complaints will be sought in Charlestown court.
April 4: Theft from a building
A victim on Dunstable Street reported that, between 11 p.m. and 12 a.m., an unknown person(s) removed from her home a video game system and a computer. Matter is under investigation.
April 5: Warrant arrest
An officer on Tufts Street placed an individual under arrest for outstanding Brockton and New Bedford court warrants.
April 6: Possession of burglarious tools
As a result of an investigation on Ferrin Street, an individual was placed under arrest for possession of burglarious tools. Suspect also had in his possession a DVD player as well as copper pipes. It should be noted this individual fit the description of the suspect who had fled the scene of an attempted breaking and entering on Cordis Street a few days earlier. Detectives are investigating.
April 6: Drug arrest
As a result of a drug investigation in the area of Medford Street, a suspect was placed under arrest for possession of a class B substance with intent to distribute.
April 5: Drug arrest
As a result of a drug investigation on Rutherford Avenue, a suspect was placed under arrest for possession of a class B substance.
