Chelmsford Selectmen to Appoint New Police Chief
Board is expected to confirm new head of department at Monday night's meeting.

Town Manager Paul Cohen will be seeking the Board of Selectmen’s confirmation of his appointment of Deputy Police Chief James Spinney as the next Police Chief at Monday night’s Board of Selectmen meeting.
Spinney has 24 years of law enforcement experience and has served the last 14 months as the Town of Chelmsford’s Deputy Police Chief.
Town Manager Cohen notes that “Deputy Chief Spinney is a man of integrity and has the leadership skills to effectively manage the Chelmsford Police Department. I believe that he will successfully lead a professional department in the years ahead.”
