Town Meeting Warrant Articles Approved
Changing the town's Zoning Board of Appeals from appointed to elected is one of the 14 articles to go before Town Meeting members in October

Fourteen articles will appear on the Oct. 20 Town Meeting warrant, after selectmen approved the warrant at its meeting Monday night, the Lowell Sun is reporting.
Among the 14 articles are three submitted by citizens: which would change the town’s Zoning Board of Appeals from an appointed board to an elected one (submitted by Jerry Low), as well as relocating the DPW vehicle maintenance facility currently located at 54 Richardson Road, and fund the demolition of the fire station at 5 North Road, both submitted by Pat Maloney.
