Victim in Chelmsford Fire Identified

The victim in a fire Monday night at an independent living facility in Chelmsford has died.

According to the Lowell Sun, the victim, identified by the district attorney’s office as Marion Guarino, 76, died Tuesday due to injuries sustained in the fire. The fire occurred in her third-floor unit, the Sun is reporting.

The fire was reported just before 9 p.m. Monday night at 20 Summer St., which is the location of Summer Place, an independent living facility in Chelmsford.

Residents were evacuated, while Guarino was transported via MedFlight with burns. There were no reports of any other injuries.
