There's a lot going on this weekend here in Concord. Here are a few suggestions on fun — and festive — weekend activities.

Why Go: Enjoy the holiday atmosphere with selections including Vaughn Williams' "Magnificat," Arvo Part’s "Peace Upon You, Jerusalem," works by Rutter, holiday favorites, and carol sing-along.

Why Go: Phyllis Fallon lends her voice to popular songs from the 1930s-1950s, accompanied by Tad Hitchcock, Rick Maida, and Dave Hurst.

Why Go: Lose yourself in this one-act opera by Gian Carlo Menotti. This program also includes "Second Shepherds' Play," a medieval mystery adapted and directed by Robert Runck.
