Two CCHS Teams Still Competing in State Tournaments

The top-ranked Patriots softball and girls tennis squads soldier on in postseason play as others have bowed out in MIAA action.

The two top-seeded girls teams from Concord-Carlisle High School continue to advance in state tournament play, while other athletic squads have hung up their cleats and rackets after solid spring seasons.

The CCHS softball club, which entered the MIAA tournament with a 19-1 record and top seeding, has advanced to the semifinals and awaits the winner of this afternoon’s contest between No. 4 Central Catholic and No. 5 Boston Latin. The Patriots will take on the winner of that game a Martin Field in Lowell, at a date and time still to be announced.
