Community Rallies Around Hispanic Woman After Racist Note: Report
Maria Ramírez, who delivers papers in Concord and Bedford, received an anonymous letter hoping she lost her job when Trump took office.

CONCORD, MA – When an area newspaper delivery woman received an anonymous racist letter last year, more than 100 residents replied with messages of encouragement, according to a Univision report.
Maria Ramírez delivers newspapers in Concord and Bedford. Last year around Labor Day, she enclosed a note and self-addressed envelope with the papers in an effort to garner tips, she told Univision.
One customer responded by hoping that Ramírez lost her job once Trump got elected, Univision reported.

"I am not satisfied with your job, because of that I am not sending you a tip," the letter reportedly stated. "I hope that when our new President gets elected and America becomes great again, you won’t have this job anymore."
Ramírez enclosed a copy of the note in a follow-up to her customers, and received more than 100 messages of support, she told Univision.
