Concord Police Log: Worker Embezzled Money for 7 Years; Call for Monument Square Traffic Enforcement; FedEx Truck Almost Hits Bike

Mon., Oct. 13

  • 1:26 a.m. An officer pulled over a vehicle traveling under the speed limit. The driver checked out OK.
  • 11:14 a.m. A woman said she saw a piece of silver for sale at a shop after it was stolen from her home.
  • 12:36 p.m. A business owner said an employee has been fraudulently using the company credit card for 7 years.

Tue., Oct. 14

  • 11:48 a.m. A woman said the GPS in her car was stolen while the vehicle was parked on Thoreau Street.
  • 7:14 p.m. A caller requested traffic enforcement in Monument Square for drivers who have failed to yield.
  • 10:11 p.m. A 19-year-old from Boston was arrested on a warrant.

  • 12:32 p.m. An employee at a wireless store on Sudbury Road was accused of stealing $800.
  • 1:17 p.m. A loose dog was reported on Westvale Drive.
  • 2:09 p.m. A woman said a FedEx truck nearly hit her on Barretts Mill Road while she was riding her bike.
  • 3:34 p.m. A man in a hospital gown was reportedly swearing at the train station on Thoreau Street. Officers determined the man had been released from Emerson Hospital and was drinking. The Bedford VA was called to help the man.
  • 6:21 p.m. A vehicle hit a deer on Main Street.
  • 6:59 p.m. One person was hurt in a crash on Main Street.
  • 9:49 p.m. Brian Riordan, 39, of Woburn, was charged with driving with a suspended license.
  • 9:54 p.m. Jose Vieira, 57, of Lowell, was charged with driving with a suspended license.
