Author Richard Whitmire 'Why Boys Fail: Saving our Sons fron an Educational System that's Leaving Them Behing'

Celebrated author Richard Whitmire will be speaking at Fenn on Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 pm.  Whitmire wrote Why Boys Fail:  Saving our Sons from an Educational System that's Leaving Them Behind which explores why boys are falling behind in K-12 schools.  The book also addresses why men are enrolling and graduating from colleges at lower rates than females.  Whitmire uses his research data to also identify possible solutions for helping boys thrive in school.  His commentaries appear frequently in publications including The Washington Post, Wall Street Journal and USA Today.  This event is free and the public is warmly encouraged to attend.   Questions about this event may be directed to Amy Jolly at 978-318-3608 or ajolly@fenn.org
