LWV to Discuss “Boy Who Harnessed the Wind”

The League of Women Voters of Concord-Carlisle will discuss “The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind: Creating Currents of Electricity and Hope,” by William Kamkwamba and Bryan Mealert, on Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at 10:00-11:30 a.m., in the Trustees Room of the Concord Free Public Library, 129 Main Street. This inspiring story of a young boy in famine-stricken Malawi who brought windmill-generated electricity to his village will round out a year of fascinating reading for the Concord-Carlisle League.
