Trinity Episcopal Church in Concord invites you to its Sunday morning Adult Forum, Trinity's adult education program, which meets weekly at 9 AM to hear speakers connect us to these topics: word, worship, wonder, world, and witness, five important aspects of our Christian life.
Sunday, November 14 World — The EcoFriendly Home & Church: Sandy Creighton. The 76th General Convention of the Episcopal Church USA voted in 2009 to sign the interfaith Genesis Covenant, which pledges to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in all religious facilities by 50% in 10 years from the time of signing. What would this mean for an individual as a well as the church? Sandy Creighton, a parishioner from St. Anne's-in-the-Fields, Lincoln who with his wife Elizabeth lives out his passion for sustainable energy, will share with us his experience with his own home. He will also offer us practical information about other sustainable energy programs that can benefit the parish.
Trinity's invited Forum speakers come from many walks of life and have addressed all manner of topics. Among our recent topics are pilgrimage, faith lost and found, histories and Biblical persons, death and dying, parenting, stewardship, grieving, and much more.
