52 practical tips for parenting your teen through thick and thin.

The Concord Carlisle Regional High School Parents Association and Concord-Carlisle Community Chest are hosting an informative presentation for parents who may need an extra hand communicating with their teen tomorrow night at the high school.
The program, “52 Practical Tips: Parenting Your Teen Through Thick & Thin,” will be presented by author Sue Blaney of Acton. Blaney, who also wrote "Please Stop the Rollercoaster: How Parents of Teenagers Can Smooth out the Ride," is a communications expert who helps family members better understand each other during what can often be difficult, teenage years.
"I believe in parents of teenagers. I believe all parents have the qualities necessary to do this job well," Blaney says in a statement on her website. "But we need to step back from the rollercoaster and learn a bit about what "normal" teenage behavior and development looks like, what the implications are of our changing role as parent of a soon-to-be adult, and our role in keeping our kids safe from risky behavior."
Blaney's books will be available at the event.
Tomorrow's program begins at 7 p.m. in the . For more information, contact Astrid Williams, director of the Concord-Carlisle Community Chest at (978)369-5250 or at info@cccommuintychest.org.
