Police Log: Motor Vehicle vs. Deer Accidents; Traffic Issues

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the logs.

Suspicious Drivers
At 5:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, police received a call from a Carr Road resident stating she observed a motor vehicle pull into her driveway and turn around. The reporting party said at the same time, another car pulled into her neighbor's driveway and also turned around. Police checked the area and did not observe any suspicious activity.

Motor Vehicle vs. Deer Accidents
Just before 6 a.m. on Wednesday, police received a call from a motorist stating approximately 15 minutes earlier, he struck a deer on Lexington Road past Old Bedford Road. The reporting party's vehicle sustained minor damage to the hood and grill. Police responded to the scene of the accident and found no deer.

At approximately 6:55 a.m., police were called to Lowell Road for a report of a deer having run into the driver's side of a 2010 Mercedes causing minor damage. Again, no deer was found.

Summons Issued After Accident
At 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, police responded to a minor motor vehicle accident on Sudbury Road at Concord Turnpike. A summons was issued for unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and failure to use care in stopping, starting, turning, backing.

Warrant Arrest
Just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Fairhaven Road resulting in the arrest of Kim M. Berry, 31, of Woburn, for an outstanding misdemeanor warrant issued by another department, and operating a vehicle with a suspended license.
