Police Log: Suspicious Phone Calls; OUI Arrest; Lost Painting

The Concord Police Department supplied the following information. It does not indicate a conviction.

 

The following incidents were documented in the logs. 

Summons for Vehicle Violations
At approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 11, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Lowell Road at Barretts Mill Road, resulting in a summons issued for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended/revoked registration, uninsured vehicle, and an unregistered vehicle.

Suspicious Phone Calls
At approximately 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, police received a report of suspicious phone calls made to the Christian Science Reading Room. Police believed the calls may be related to an earlier incident.

OUI Arrest
Just after 1 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12, police initiated a motor vehicle stop on Concord Turnpike at Elm Street, resulting in the arrest of Nicholas H. Donovan, 27, of Pepperell, for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, and marked lanes violations.

Lost Painting
At approximately 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, an individual came into the police station to report a painting stolen from . Approximately 20 minutes after the report was made, the reporting party called back to tell police the painting had only been misplaced.
