Danvers Fire To Hold 9-11 Remembrance On Sunday Morning
The public is invited to the ceremony, which will include bagpipes and a moment of silence, at 10 a.m. at Danvers fire headquarters.

DANVERS, MA — The public is invited to join the Danvers Fire Department in remembering those who died in the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks on America and the first responders who helped save lives that day.
The 9-11 Remembrance will take place at the Danvers Fire Department headquarters on High Street beginning with coffee at 9 a.m. All personnel will then assemble at the memorial and the ceremony will begin at 10 a.m. with apparatus turning on the emergency lights to roll out of the bay, an "FDNY Last Alarm" and a bell toll.
The flag will then be lowered to half staff and there will be a bagpipes rendition.

After a prayer is recited and a moment of silence observed, the flag will be raised back to full staff and the apparatus will return inside the station with lights on to conclude the ceremony.
