DANVERS, MA — North Shore residents with boxes of vinyl records, video games and cassettes taking up space in the basement are encouraged to donate them to benefit HIV/AIDS prevention and support programs at the Peabody Institute Library of Danvers this week.

The library on Sylvan Street is hosting the donation drive through Friday with items then to be sorted and given to Boomerangs, which combines thrifting with fundraising for important causes like HIV prevention and education.

Items sought include clothes, shoes, accessories, jewelry, bras, records, VHS tapes, cassettes, video games, home decor, new toys and tools.
