Danvers Opens Next Round Of COVID-19 Community Grants
Nonprofit and community organizations are encouraged to apply for the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 funding.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers community organizations and nonprofits are encouraged to apply for the latest round of the American Recovery Plan Act funding.
The town announced a request for proposals for a share of the $350 billion in federal funding made available to state, local, territorial and Tribal governments. The one-time funds are intended to meet pandemic response needs and "rebuild stronger, more equitable communities as the country recovers."
The town of Danvers ARPA Plan calls for some of this funding to be directed toward those most in need in the community.

Damvers seeks to provide assistance primarily to organizations that provide youth/family services and community services located in Danvers, or serving residents of Danvers. Possible examples of assistance include utility assistance, food assistance, fuel assistance, rent assistance, mental health programs, and job-training programs.
Grants may be requested in the range of $5,000 to $250,000.
