Danvers Yard Waste Collection Resumes This Week
Residents are asked to take advantage of curbside collection to help prevent stormwater pollution.
DANVERS, MA — Danvers residents are encouraged to take advantage of curbside yard waste collection next week as a way to both tidy things up around the property and to help prevent stormwater pollution.
The next collection week is April 24-28 with residents advised to have bags or barrels out at the curb by 7 a.m.
"Disposing of yard waste properly is a critical way to prevent nutrient pollution from yard waste from entering our stormwater system," the Danvers Department of Public Works said. "To help prevent stormwater pollution sweep up any grass clippings or leaves that end up on impervious surfaces so rain does not wash them into the storm drains."
