DanversCARES, a community coalition dedicated to supporting youth and families in making healthy decisions, has hired Lyle Harrod in the newly created position of Assistant Director.

In his role, Harrod will assist the program director and coalition members in implementing key goals, objectives and activities. He will provide training to community members and youth to build coalition capacity; implement community prevention programs; and supervise youth-driven prevention activities in school and community settings.

“The interview committee saw several qualified candidates for this position, but Lyle’s passion for working with youth and his experience in community-building activities made him the ideal person for this position,” said Peg Sallade, Director, DanversCARES.
