The town will present two in-person tutorials on the functions and how to navigate the town's new municipal website.

DANVERS, MA — Those looking for ways to explore the town's new municipal website are invited to one of two Danvers in-person tutorials on the site features over the next two weeks.

The sessions will cover an overview of different functions on the site as well as how to set up notifications about issues and events important to Danvers residents.

The first session will be on Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. in the Toomey Room in Danvers Town Hall.

The town partnered with CivicPlus on what it calls the "new, mobile-responsive, highly functional civic website."

Danvers Town Manager Steve Bartha told the Select Board ahead of the launch that most information can be found "with three clicks or less" and that residents can sign up for information alerts on things important to them.

"The project team has spent considerable time working behind the scenes with the vendor, community members and staff to ensure that visitors can access information quickly, efficiently and with ease," Bartha said.

The website was revamped using federal American Recovery Plan Act funding.
