Danvers Indoor Sports is excited to bring Girls on the Run for girls in grades 3-5 to their state-of-the-art facility! Girls on the Run is a physical activity-based, positive youth development program that inspires girls to be joyful, healthy and confident. The volunteer-led program brings together groups of 8-15 girls for a ten-week program that encourages personal development, team building and connection to the community.
The team at Danvers Indoor Sports will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays 3:30-5:00PM. Olivia Balloveras, DIS Facility Coordinator, will be the Head Coach and can be reached at 978-777-7529 or Olivia@danversindoorsports.com.
I'm extremely excited to bring Girls On The Run to Danvers Indoor Sports! The curriculum that this program has created is perfect for girls in grades 3-5. I look forward to bringing the team of girls closer to their individual goals, helping them with healthy life style habits, and of course having fun,” says Olivia Balloveras, Girls on the Run Head Coach.

The program fee for the spring 2017 season is $200, and scholarship funding is available to those who qualify. The program fee includes registration for the end-of-season 5k event, a finisher’s medal, 5k shirt, water bottle, and program shirt.
