It's Pesky Pothole Season In Danvers Once Again
The town is inviting residents to report the road hazards for repair as conditions become more conducive for traveling trouble.
DANVERS, MA — This is nothing wonderful about this part of this time of the year.
While the winter season brings holiday delights and cold-weather fun for those who like to be outside in the snow, it also brings the dreaded potholes to roads across the North Shore.
With that in mind, the Danvers Department of Public Works is reminding residents to report the road hazards so that the DPW knows about them in a timely fashion and they can get fixed before trashing the tires of unsuspecting travelers.

Freezing groundwater expansion is one cause of turnovers. With a series of rain and snow storms, followed by overnight freezing, conditions will be prime for pavement breakdowns in the upcoming weeks.
Danvers DPW has launched an online pothole reporting portal here. Residents can also report the dangers by calling the pothole hotline at 978-762-0231.
