New Nursery Opens at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore During Church Services
Parents of infants and toddlers, seeking to enjoy worship, can now put their active children in the care of new church nursery.

Parents of infants and toddlers, who long to enjoy worship without their rambunctious youngsters squirming in their laps, can take advantage of the new children's nursery that opens each Sunday at 9:45 a.m., with two young adult nursery attendants, both Safe Church certified and Cori checked, as well as an adult. The family service at All Saints Episcopal Church of the North Shore, located on the corner of Cherry and Holten Streets, begins at 10 a.m.
The bright, cheerful nursery at All Saints -- newly refurbished and replete with colorful, happy distractions including educational toys, age-appropriate books, chalk writing wall surfaces, a pack and play, and a changing table, is within eye-shot of the sanctuary, so parents can feel confident in leaving their little ones in a secure space, where security, safety and cleanliness are paramount. A check-in/check-out protocol is in place, along with cell-phone texting system in order to give parents and nursery attendants ready access to each other in case of need.
The nursery, under the direction of our church school director -- a former nursery school director and teacher with a degree in Early Childhood Education -- follows standard protocols of cleanliness and maintains sanitary conditions and disinfecting procedures established by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care, to ensure the well being of its young charges.

Of course, All Saints North Shore is happy to welcome young families' who wish to worship together in the sanctuary, and can provide them with children's worship “care kits” that include crayons and coloring sheets. For families who prefer, there is a comfortable Family Room directly off the sanctuary which provides a picture window view of the altar and piped in sound so parents can still see and hear the service.
