NH Man Accused Of Flashing Gun During Danvers Road Rage Incident
Matthew Meserve of Rollinsford, NH, is accused of brandishing a handgun at another motorist during an altercation on I-95 Saturday.

DANVERS, MA — A New Hampshire man is facing firearm charges after being accused of flashing a handgun at another motorist on I-95 Saturday. Around 7:30 a.m., Massachusetts State Police received a call from a motorist that alleged being threatened by another driver with a handgun after an altercation on I-95 in Danvers. The vehicle was described as a gray Nissan Sentra sedan on the northbound side of the Interstate near Exit 50.
Troopers scoured the area looking for the Sentra and found it near Exit 52 in Boxford. The car was stopped on in Newbury near Exit 52.
The driver, Matthew Meserve, 31, of Rollinsford, NH, was questioned and state troopers reported finding a Taurus Spectrum .38 caliber pistol with a fully loaded cartridge inside the Sentra. State police also accused Meserve of not being duly licensed to possess a firearm and he was arrested.

Meserve is being held on $1,000 bail after being charged with possession of a firearm without a license, assault with a dangerous weapon-firearm, possession of ammunition without an FID, and carrying a loaded firearm. He will be arraigned in Salem District Court on Nov. 12.
