Police Log: Danvers Police Make Eight Arrests

Saturday, Oct. 11
At 7:08 p.m., police arrested James Falardeau, 57, 247 Main St., Maynard, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of liquor (second offense). Police made the arrest on Newbury Street after a report of an erratic driver with a blown out tire.
At 11:03 p.m., police arrested Joseph Perez, 22, 84R Central St., Peabody, and charged him with disorderly conduct. Police also placed a 19-year-old person into protective custody. Police made the arrest after a report of two intoxicated people on Valley Road.

Sunday, Oct. 12
At 8:49 p.m., police arrested Steven Kenney, 28, 3 Gage St., Beverly, and charged him with shoplifting by concealing merchandise. Police made the arrest after a report of someone trying to steal a knife at Walmart.

At 10:57 p.m., a Delaware Street resident reported someone damaged a motor vehicle. Police took a report.
Monday, Oct. 13
At 1:31 p.m., police arrested Daniel Puleo, 53, 98 Water St., and charged him with shoplifting by asportation. Police made the arrest after a report of a shoplifter at Market Basket.
At 4:23 p.m., police received a call from Lowe’s Home Improvement after a report of two stolen chain saws. Police took a report.
At 6:59 p.m., police received a call from Valley Road after the report of a stolen purse. Police took a report.
Tuesday, Oct. 14
At 10:10 a.m., police responded to Buxton Road after a hunting tree stand was stolen.
At 5:35 p.m., police arrested Thomas Elwell, 22, 149 High St., Danvers, and charged him with shoplifting more than $100 by asportation and possessing a Class D drug to distribute. Police made the arrest after a report of a male trying to steal electronics.
Wednesday, Oct. 15
At 2:13 p.m., police arrested Oscar Ovalles, 44, 24 Hancock St., Salem, and charged him with operating a motor vehicle with a revoked license. Police made the arrest during a traffic stop on Endicott Street.
Thursday, Oct. 16
At 5:55 p.m., police arrested Todd Plante, 46, 6 Lakeview Place, Lynn, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation and Joshua Kalloger, 29, 60 West Main St., Orange, and charged him with shoplifting by asportation (second offense). Police made the arrests at Walmart.
Friday, Oct. 17
At 1:47 a.m., police received a call from Newbury Street about a car break-in. Golf clubs were stolen.
