Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Invites Students to Partcipate in Essay Contest
Winning submissions will receive cash prizes

Puritan Lawn Memorial Park is inviting local students to participate in an essay contest “Why is the First Amendment the cornerstone of our democracy?” Middle school (grade 6,7,8) and high school (grade 9,10,11,12) students are eligible to participate.
A first and second prize will be awarded in the middle school category and a first and second prize will be awarded in the high school category. Matching donations will be made to the schools of the winning students.
Submissions will be accepted until May 1, 2017. Winners will be announced by May 22, 2017 and recognized at our Memorial Weekend Service on Sunday, May 28th at 11 a.m.
