Save the Date: DHS ACTS to Hold "Laugh Out Loud" Comedy Night Fundraiser on November 11, 2017

Save the date! The Danvers High School Academy Theatre (DHS ACTS) will hold its second annual fall fundraiser on Saturday evening, November 11, 2017. “Laughing Out Loud: A Night of Comedy” will take place at the Ferncroft Country Club, and includes a cocktail hour, dinner, silent and live auctions, and a comedy showcase featuring Boston-based comedians to be announced soon. Tickets will be for sale online starting in mid-September at http://www.danversacademytheatre.org/. No tickets will be sold at the door on the night of the event.

Individual tickets for the DHS ACTS fundraiser are $75; you may also reserve tables of 10. Multiple sponsorship opportunities are available, including Presenting Sponsorship ($1500) and Table Sponsorship ($1000) levels. Under the guidance of Director Kyla Moulton, Technical Director Tracie Ewing, and Music Director Alex Grover, the cast and crew of Danvers High School students put on several shows each academic year, and successfully competed in the state finals of the Massachusetts Educational Theater Guild’s (METG) Drama Festival in 2015 and 2016. The DHS ACTS 2017-2018 season will feature the Tony Award-winning “Urinetown” as the fall musical (November 30 through December 3) and competition in the METG Drama Festival in the spring, among other events.
