Sparks to join Danvers Indoor Sports as Field Hockey Director

DIS Welcomes Sarah Sparks to the team

Danvers Indoor Sports is excited to announce the hiring of Sarah Sparks as Field Hockey Director. Sarah joins the Danvers Indoor Sports team with a great deal of field hockey experience. As a native of Falmouth, Maine, she was a member of the Katahdin Field Hockey Club, now known as Maine Elite Field Hockey Club.

In 2013, following her career as a three-year varsity letter winner with the Falmouth Field Hockey team and Katahdin Field Hockey Club, Sarah attended Merrimack College where she majored in Athletic Training and was a member of the Field Hockey team four years. In her time at Merrimack, she helped lead the program to three Division II Final Four appearances and finishing in 2015 as the National Runner-Up. Sarah was Captain of her team her senior year at Merrimack.

“I am so excited for the future of DIS Field Hockey programs under the leadership of Sarah Sparks. I had the pleasure of coaching Sarah for three years at Merrimack College and have full confidence in her bringing this program to new height,” said DIS Field Hockey Consultant, Andrea Slaven.
