BJ's Cited for Allegedly Selling Liquor to Area Stores
The club store will face an Alcohol Beverages Control Commission hearing in September.
BJ's Wholesale Club will face an Alcohol Beverages Control Commission hearing Sept. 21 to answer a 42-count complaint brought against it.
BJ's, located at 866 Providence Hwy., is alleged to have sold liquor to another store, a violation of their liquor license. The violation was brought on April 30.
The wholesale club is licensed to sell as a retailer, not as a wholesaler, and could face penalties ranging from a warning to a revocation of its license.
