Blues in the Corner plays original and classic blues in a laid-back, easy-to-listen-to style.
Front man and harp player, Eddie Love made his musical debut two years ago at the tender age of 68. For forty years, he nurtured a passion for music and honed his talent but amazingly never played with other musicians or performed in front of an audience. Since his debut he’s been unstoppable as a captivating performer and has already developed his own fan base. He’s a natural born singer and a true bluesman.
Guitarist, Stephen Stern and bassist, Rudy Barajas make up the group’s songwriting duo. As a team, they have a unique writing style - breaking at times from traditional blues forms but always remaining rooted in essential blues elements. Stern is a master of the groove and hook while Barajas writes most of the lyrics ranging from the thought-provoking to the downright funny. Their original song list includes titles like, Dichotomy of Woman Blues, Hell’s Kitchen, Boogie Woogie Junk, A Reptile Dysfunction and Chiropractic Blues.

In addition to their originals, the group plays a lot of classic blues tunes from artists like Little Walter, Freddie King, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix and more. To round things out, the group adds in a few select non-blues tunes that blend well with their main genre.
