Call Announced for Veteran Nominations for Oakdale Square Tree Lighting

Oakdale Square Alliance Seeks Nominations of Dedham Vets to Light Christmas Tree on Oakdale Square Common During Light the Night Sat Dec 10

Oakdale Square Alliance is proud to shine the light on ALL our nation’s veterans; as well as those on active duty during the holiday season. We remember the sacrifices our service men, women and their families make on a daily basis for the freedoms we enjoy.

As is OSA's tradition, our neighborhood group would like to have two Dedham Veterans (one man, one woman) throw the light switch to light up the Christmas tree on the Oakdale Square Common. To assist in the selection of this year's Veterans, Oakdale Square Alliance is soliciting nominations from the community.

Do you know of a deserving Veteran you'd like to nominate? The only requirement is that the Veteran is currently living in Dedham, and, would be willing to help throw the ceremonial tree lighting switch. Please email info@oakdalesquare.org with your suggestion(s). Include a short background about your nominee's service and how their light has helped make your family, neighborhood or community better.
