Deadline Extended to June 14th, Call to Artists, "Gardens"

A special exhibition hosted at the Dedham Community Theatre

“Monet’s “The Garden at Giverny”, Audubon’s botanical prints, Van Gogh’s “Irises”, all represent the artist view of Gardens using brush, color and line to create their images. A garden can be a spiritual place where the connection with Mother Earth is important. Show us how gardens inspire your work.”

Interpret this theme in the medium of your choice—two-dimensional (painting, photography, drawing, etc.) and three-dimensional (glass, ceramics, wood, jewelry, sculpture, etc).

This Challenge is open to all artists, working in any medium, who work/reside in eastern Massachusetts. This show will be hosted in the lower gallery at the Dedham Community Theatre! 580 High Street, Dedham, MA. http://www.dedhamcommunitytheatre.com

Open to all artists in Eastern Massachusetts.
The non-refundable submission fee of $25 for up to 2 pieces must be paid online via the paypal button below, on or before the published deadline for the Challenge.

High School art students, may submit work at no charge, but must email dedhamguild.submissions@gmail.com notifying intent to show.

Entry fees, signed prospectus and jpg samples of your current work (Artists must submit 3 examples of recent work via email (which may be any work in same medium you will be submitting to the Challenge, or Challenge pieces if they are ready) by June14th. Artists will be notified of acceptance by June 3.
