Well-established as solo performers in their home state of Rhode Island, Tracie Potochnik and Steve Allain joined forces in the spring of 2014 when Tracie showed up on Steve’s doorstep with her mandolin and said, “Let’s write a song together!” The two have since formed a duo featuring sweet and soulful harmony, thoughtful musicianship, and delicately crafted lyrical storytelling.

Trained as a classical musician, Steve originally hails from Marlborough, Mass and New Brunswick, Canada. His musical approach is shaped by a melting pot of styles including rock, jazz, country, and Elvis Presley. He has released a full-length solo album, Thirteen, as well as three volumes of singles.

Originally from Pittsburgh, Tracie is known for inhabiting a range of complex and sometimes dark characters in her songs, which reliably feature a touch of twang. Her full-length solo debut, The Dream, was released last fall.
