Changes Coming to Dedham's Bus Schedule

Daily operational changes to Dedham’s local bus schedule will take effect come this July.

The bus schedule will be reducing its operating hours from 10 1/2-hour days to eight-hour days starting on July 6.

The changes will not impact the current service which is provided, according to ridership data and discussions with those who utilize the buses.

The bus service runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on a Monday through Friday basis. It does not run on holidays.

Dedham is in the final stages of launching a new bust route that is tentatively scheduled to be implemented in August, according to the city’s planning director.
