Child Hit by Car, Another Theft Arrest in Dedham

Police log for Wednesday, Oct. 6.

A child was hit while walking on Bridge Street, according to a police report. The child was taken to Boston Children's Hospital with injuries.

The accident occured at around 6 p.m. Monday evening. Police didn't return calls seeking additional information.

Dedham police arrested 24-year-old Rania Nassar of Attleboro for allegedly stealing more than $250 worth of merchandise from Best Buy on Providence Highway.

Officer Kevin Mahoney arrested Nassar on Monday at around 7:30 p.m.

T-Mobile Theft Suspects Sought

Police are searching for two suspects who robbed T-Mobile Tuesday afternoon.

Witnesses say two Hispanic males fled the store with a stolen Blackberry Curve. One suspect left in a vehicle with Massachusetts plate 432HD7, and the other fled on foot, according to a police report.

Witnesses report that the suspect who fled on foot was in his 20s and wearing a red and black hooded sweatshirt with black and red trim on his sneakers.
