With the Beatles music pouring out of our speakers at home, they were certainly my first early inspiration and while that isn't an uncommon story for young kids picking up a guitar for the first time, I was also very intrigued by the creativity found in the construction of the songs from the technical side of things. The process and technique of recording music was as interesting to me as the craft of songwriting and performance.
