“I am always attracted to simple and powerful landscapes whether in my own backyard or faraway places. This inspires me to create my “Mystical Places” landscape paintings. I paint in sumi-e, pastel and acrylic,” Chimielinski said. “My painting is a true expression of my cross cultural background. Born in China and raised by Buddhist parents; I learned painting from a Zen Master. My education and experience in Hong Kong and the United States have provided for me a balance of East and West.”

The Dedham Artist Guild was founded in 2011. It’s the town’s first artist cooperative, owned and operated by its members.
