Dedham Artists' Works Chosen for WGBH Mural
Four resident artists at Mother Brook Arts and Community Center will have their work displayed.

Four local artists are about to find out what it’s like to see their work in lights.
WGBH selected the works of Jason Bryant Parker, Alex Jones, Josephine Burr and Iris Sonnenschein for display Nov. 15 on the station’s digital mural visible from the Mass Pike in Boston. All four artists are resident artists at Dedham’s Mother Brook Art and Community Center.
According to an announcement from the center, Jones worked with WGBH to have the works displayed. On Saturday, an image from each artist -- a blue eye by Parker, an orchid photograph by Jones, a ceramic knot by Burr, and a quilt by Sonnenschein -- will display for 12 seconds each on a loop from 6:30 a.m.-8 p.m.

The 30-foot-by-45-foot LED mural is intended to “brighten the ride for commuters with a theme a day that provokes thought, inspires curiosity, and reflects the content and values of public media,” the WGBH website reads.
