Dedham Field Hockey, Soccer Split With Walpole

The girl's soccer team moved one game closer toward a home playoff game with a 3-1 win against a dangerous Walpole team. 

Walpole jumped on the board first, but Dedham netted a pair of goals before half and added a third in the second half to seal the win.

On senior night at Dedham High School, Jenna Savi, the school's , kicked home all three goals with assists from Emily Hill and Libby Masalsky.

The Marauders improve to 14-3-2 overall and 10-3-2 in conference. Walpole drops to 11-4-1 and 9-4-1 in the Bay State. Dedham will close out its regular season Thursday against 1-13 Milton.

Walpole's Second Half Surge Dooms Field Hockey

Down 2-0 at halftime, the Maruaders cut into Walpole's lead Tuesday evening at Dedham High School with a goal 8 minutes into the second half.

But, three goals in the final 15 minutes sealed the win for the Rebels.

With the loss, Dedham falls to 9-7-1 overall and 7-6-1 in conference. They'll face Milton at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday at DHS.
